High-Level FAW Delegation Visits Truck Line and Signs Strategic Agreements to Expand Truck Distribution in Saudi Arabia
On Thursday, May 22, 2025, Truck Line welcomed a high-level delegation from FAW Group, led by Dr. Li Sheng, Chairman of FAW Group, accompanied by:
- Mr. Ling Changchun, President of FAW Import & Export,
- Mr. Huo Jianguang, President of Hongda (Global Distributor of FAW Trucks),
- Mr. Chen Xin, General Manager of FAW in Saudi Arabia.
The delegation was received at the company’s headquarters in Jeddah by:
- Mr. Abdulrahim Al-Zahrani, Chairman of Truck Line,
- Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadani, Member of the Board,
- Mr. Abdulraoof Bin Habbabah, CEO of the company.
The meeting included discussions on commercial and strategic cooperation, exploring opportunities for FAW's growth in the Saudi market, and exchanging perspectives on building a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership.
In a key statement, Dr. Li Sheng announced that FAW Group plans to open a Research Center in Saudi Arabia during 2025, dedicated to developing trucks that suit local market needs and conditions. He also revealed that the group is preparing to establish a truck assembly plant in King Abdullah Economic City, as a major step toward industrial localization in the Kingdom.
Following the meeting, a formal lunch was held in honor of the visiting delegation, reflecting the strength of the relationship and the serious intent to deepen cooperation.
During the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Mr. Ling Changchun and Mr. Mohammed Al-Jadani, laying the foundation for a long-term partnership in truck distribution across the Kingdom.
Additionally, a supply agreement for 500 FAW trucks during 2025 was signed between Mr. Huo Jianguang and Mr. Abdulraoof Bin Habbabah, aimed at expanding Truck Line’s market share through the sale of these trucks in the Saudi market.
An additional agreement was also signed between Mr. Chen Xin and Mr. Abdulraoof Bin Habbabah, under which Truck Line is granted full support to provide maintenance and spare parts services, positioning it as the largest authorized center in the Kingdom for servicing and supplying parts for all vehicles sold in the Saudi market.
At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Li Sheng presented a commemorative gift to the company’s leadership, while Mr. Abdulrahim Al-Zahrani presented an honorary gift to Dr. Li as a gesture of mutual respect and appreciation for the growing partnership.
